This month, as we celebrate the 5th anniversary of R+H Aesthetic Medicine, we reflect on the incredible journey that brought us here, and the extraordinary people behind it: Dr. Rei Young and Heidi Young, PA-C.

Before R+H became a reality, Dr. Rei Young and Heidi Young, PA-C were already making profound impacts in the world of medicine. Dr. Young began his career in the intense environment of the emergency room, where every decision he made could mean the difference between life and death. Even now, as he continues his work as an Urgent Care Physician and Medical Director of R+H Aesthetic Medicine, Dr. Young brings that same unwavering commitment to ensuring that every patient feels safe, cared for, and transformed.
Heidi Young, PA-C has a story that is both humbling and deeply inspiring. On September 11, 2001, the world stood still as unimaginable tragedy struck. Heidi was there, in the heart of New York City, working on the front lines at Saint Vincent’s Catholic Medical Center, where she faced the harrowing task of saving lives in the aftermath of the 9/11 attacks. The trauma, the chaos, the lives lost, and those miraculously saved—all of it left an indelible mark on Heidi's heart and soul. But it also ignited a fire within her—a fire to help, to heal, to bring light into the darkest of places. Her experiences during that time shaped her in profound ways, fueling her passion for patient care and her drive to make a meaningful difference in the world.
Heidi’s journey did not end there. She went on to serve as part of the medical staff for NFL, NBA, and college sports teams, bringing her expertise to the elite athletes who relied on her skill to stay in peak condition. She also taught at Cornell Medical School, passing on her knowledge, passion, and experience to the next generation of medical professionals. But it was in Beverly Hills, amidst the world of aesthetics, that Heidi found her true calling—helping others see and feel their beauty, just as she had learned to see beauty even in the midst of tragedy.
