Her path began with a Bachelor of Science in kinesiology from San Diego State University, followed by her PA degree from UC Davis in 2009. But before she ever held a syringe for beauty, she spent over a decade in family medicine, urgent care, and neurology. It was there—treating patients debilitated by migraines—that she discovered the profound power of Botox.
“It was really gratifying to see how Botox could change their quality of life and truly make a difference,” Alicia said.
That gift of transformation—whether relief from pain or a quiet return of confidence—has guided her ever since.
Today, Alicia is the lead master artist injector at R+H Aesthetic Medicine’s South Lake Tahoe clinic. But she is so much more than her title. She’s a devoted mother to two girls, Audrey and Piper, who “just give love and kindness so naturally,” she said, her eyes sparkling with pride. “Kids are beautifully unfiltered- they don't carry judgement or self-doubt. They simply exist as their pure, authentic selves."
She met her husband in San Diego and together they built a life full of sunshine and movement—but when the world paused in 2020, they chose something deeper. With a toddler in tow and pregnant with their second child, Alicia and her husband left the Bay Area for the stillness of Tahoe. “We just needed to get out of the city and get back to our roots in the mountains,” she said. “And we never looked back.”
That return home sparked something powerful. One conversation between Alicia and R+H founders, Heidi, PA-C, and Dr. Young, led to the idea of building something new. Alicia and Heidi, both born in Tahoe and both PAs with adventurous spirits, had known each other for decades. Their bond ran deeper than business. They had stood by each other through life’s most challenging and cherished moments—from holding hands during the most heartbreaking chapters of life to being in each other’s weddings.
Within a year, the South Lake Tahoe location of R+H Aesthetic Medicine was born. And Alicia—quiet, brilliant, and deeply rooted in integrity—was its heartbeat.
Every patient who sits in Alicia’s chair is treated with a blend of science and soul. Her 10+ years of aesthetic injecting are sharpened by continuous education through Allergan Institute trainings, where she stays at the forefront of advanced, evidence-based techniques. “I want someone to feel safe and comfortable with me,” Alicia said. “To sit in the chair and feel better when they leave than when they walked in.”
One of the most moving experiences in her career came when a patient, scarred from being thrown through a windshield in a horrific accident, walked in believing she would never see her old self again. Through lasers, skincare, filler, and time, Alicia helped not only her skin—but her spirit—heal.
